I'm really happy with how this one came out! I haven't drawn Akari in forever. The only problem I had was the paper-- it's very texturized, so there are little holes everywhere. And even though I love the color, it's dark enough that I had to draw the fur backwards-- instead of starting with dark colors and adding lighter ones, I had to do the opposite.

Oh that is so cool. I luv it! And I can see how textured that paper is. I have the same problem since the new sketch pad I brought has heavier paper.

Yeah, this is one that I've had for a while. I've even got two of them, I don't know how I'll ever getting around to using them. Ooh, unless maybe watercolors will work... O.o
Textured paper gets really annoying sometimes.
