So I was in the shower last night, and I happened to notice the little droplets that condense on the tiles. Since our bathroom light is a bit on the dim side, and we have two layers of shower curtain, you couldn't see anything but the light bouncing off the droplets. It made them look like teeny little white bugs, skittering down the tiles and disappearing. I watched them for like five minutes, then remembered why I was taking a shower in the first place and got back to washing my new short hair. Although I guess technically it's not all that new, since I got it cut back in June, but it still feels new to me every time I really think about it.

Well, I'm finally taking a formal art class. We haven't done a whole lot yet, mostly just sketches for homework (studies, so far we've done plants, animals, and town/city life). Although I did do my first abstract piece... Definitely not my strongest point. I have been slowly (VERY VERY SLOWLY) getting back into the endless cycle of school, homework, and crazy band rehearsals/competitions/football games/nerve-racking auditions. Although I am very excited, because tomorrow I get to leave rehearsal an hour early and take part in Dr. Tim Lautzenheimer's Leadership seminar!! You may or may not have heard of him, I never had before attending the same seminar last year. It really changed the way I think and boosted my self-confidence, so I'm eager to find out what other qualities I can bring out of myself.

By the way, commissions are still open, although I highly doubt that anyone would be interested. I've got loads of dA crap to finish up in the meantime. Hopefully I'll be getting a job this winter... I really need money so I can save up for college tuition, buying my own car, and living on my own. God, I feel so old! Only two years left until I leave the nest. Wish me luck.
